TWISTEDWILLOW
It an 84 pound mouse hole, made in England value really depends on ring an rebound but just looking at the condition here in eastern Oklahoma that anvil would bring around $100 maybe a little more if it has a nice ring an 80 percent rebound
ThomasPowers
90 pound Armitage Mouse Hole, (brand), anvil. Made in the UK. As to what it's worth---DEPENDS ON THE LOCATION, anvils are cheaper in the UK and more expensive in Australia for example and this is the World Wide Web! Here in the USA 3 to 5 US$ a pound depending on location...Please be aware that any grinding or milling or welding on the face drops the price radically, often by 1/2 or more and even down to scrap metal price as the working face of an anvil is quite thin and so it's easy to thin it past using it as an anvil trying to "pretty it up"! The weight stamp is in the old CWT system used in England, leftmost digit times 112, middle digit times 28, (quarter hundredweights and so only 0-3 allowed) and rightmost digit(s) are residual pounds an only 0-27 allowed. So 0x112 + 3x28 + 6 gives you 90 pounds a fairly light anvil; but handy for travelling with. (Note that US anvils didn't use the CWT system). ThomasPowers
90 pound, 3x28 + 6. And PLEASE don't post this in multiple places; you get the same people seeing it and the same answers and waste people time and data costs!
