Recently I have came across this buffalo silent blower, it's in good condition, only detail is the makeshift handle, does anybody have information regarding the original handle,(measurements,if a counterweight is needed etc ) 

Does the other side have a model number on it?  If you want an exact match...

It doesn't

Gearbox Looks like a Buffalo 200 silent to me, 

I did an online image search and tons of them showed up with different size impeller housings an different mounting options,

I think it's  the one that was attached to a series 210 forge, 

looks like Not all of them have the counterweight,

If you the advertisement you posted it shows one without it but the last one I posted shows one on there, 

But now that you know the model number you can look it up online and just pick a handle design you like and copy it, 

Of course the Advertisements were not always accurate too. It was expensive to create them and things got reused and transposed and inaccuracies ignored.  We're used to pictures that show what is there not drawings that go through another person's (at least) interpretation before we see them.

I will say that my online image search showed actual photos of them with an without the counter weight too, 

but I guess someone could have removed them sometime in the past, 

Yep the only consistent thing advertised its a crank made of flat bar

 

Might be an oval bar at the part that goes through the oval hole on the blower.

Ive got a couple blowers that are just crank handles but all my blowers that have a handle running all the way through the mount are oval shaped 

I don't recall any of mine having both an oval and a round hole in them---perhaps a retrofit?

I agree Thomas, I’ve never seen a blower of any manufacture or model with two holes in the mount let alone a round one for that matter,

All the Buffalo 200 silent blowers I saw had oval shaped handles running through the mounts 

Same with my Champion blowers.
