Charles R. Stevens
Yep, PT is going to fit right in with the rest of us miscreants...
ThomasPowers
And mess-creants as well?
Charles R. Stevens
Have you been spying on my mess?!
ThomasPowers
Sorry, can't see it through/over my mess. My workbench is definitely the result of a sort of punctuated equilibrium between steady state and catastrophism sedimentation. You know it's bad when you get to thinking that it would be easier to build another workbench than to clean off the one you already have... (At least I don't have to worry about glaciation down here! Though I do want to move an old 2 plate coal stove into the shop so I have an excuse to spend more time in it this winter---gotta keep the stove fed you know...Plate tectonics on the other hand...the Rio Grande valley is a rift valley...) Charles R. Stevens
Might just have to trade messes, lol.
ThomasPowers
NEVER! Not till you pry it from my cold rusty fingers! (Or offer my wife a couple of bucks for it when I'm out to town...) A smith's scrap pile is a unique reflection of what he does and what tools he has---or hopes to do/have in the future!
Charles R. Stevens
My mess is spread out over two shops and a shop trailer...
ThomasPowers
Mine was spread over two locations; now it's *concentrated* as I had to load it all in one when I gave up my rental casita and moved back home. Funny thing; now I have more usable room in my shop than before---I had to clean and sort and arrange things to get it all in and be able to do any work.
