ThomasPowers Posted May 20, 2019 Author Share Posted May 20, 2019 Sorry I didn't get a chance to stop by; I was basically driving my Mother around; she's getting a bit rough on directions and dodging other vehicles. I did get to hear a lot of family info in practically fractal minutia; unfortunately most of the good stories should be kept in the family...Saw way too many tombstones of my kinfolk that didn't make it to my age; including some of my general generation. Put decorations on my great grandfather's, the blacksmith, grave. Walked my property out there and have been pulling ticks off for a couple of days after. Natural Dam was the prettiest I've seen it in a decade or two; the rains cleaned a lot of stuff away and it was running free and clear. About 800 miles each way and we drove back in one day and arrived home in daylight. (+200 to get me back to the casita.) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
