Del Beemer
I just picked this up from an antique dealer in my area ( Southern Ontario, Canada). He had no background on it and frankly didn't even know what it was. I was able to get it for $50 and from the little bit of information that I was able to find on the net it is an early design of the M. Ehrgott Co. around 1879 in New York. They won an award for the design in or around that year. If anyone has any more information on it I would greatly appreciate it
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Welcome to IFI... We won't remember where you are from once leaving this post, hence the suggestion in this thread to add your location. READ THIS FIRST BTW: What else other than the tags you put in do you want to know about it? swedefiddle
Good Morning, Del Welcome to our world. Some answers come slower than others. You are in Ontario Artist Blacksmith Association country (OABA). They have a huge amount of very knowledgeable people and resources, Contact them, they have members all over. Even me on the left coast. Looks like a fire-pot/tuyere from what I can make out. Neil
