Basically you set the upper and lower limit, and upon pressing a foot button or biting the biteswitch, one cycle of the ram is completed. Again, the lower position is instantly adjustable. Starting off in my career I was a controls Engineer working on plastic extrusion equipment so pairing control systems with a press has peaked my attention. Thanks for posting this. The website has nothing for sale, although it mentioned a production run starting in February. How easy is it to change the tooling? It doesn't appear to have any way to quickly switch dies.
