Finnr
Real nice!! I just found a knife that I gave my Dad years ago, while going through some of his things that hadn't been touched since he passed. Brought a smile. Finnr

Steve Sells
What kind of machine did you use for those bevels, and how was it heat treated ? Edited June 15, 2008 by steve sells
mattjayne9090
I only use a bench disk grinder, a little Task Force belt grinder, and files. I then heat treated it by quenching in water and then went over the handle and spine with a toarch.
Steve Sells
I have found its very hard to get a hollow grind by hand. Most of us use a contact wheel. This blade shape and file detail, looks a lot like some kit blanks I have seen, Just wondered, since you posted this as a first blade.
