240 or 105 pound Trenton?

Recommended Posts

Got a call from a buddy who's neighbor was selling his blacksmith shop items, including a 240 pound Trenton for 350$.

I said yes, albeit a bit quickly then nearly dislocated my hip turning to run to my truck. I walked into the shop about a half hour later, but knew right away it was around 100.pounds. he disagreed so I paid him for it anyway, lol.

It seems to be a 105 Trenton in really nice shape. I sure would dig it if someone with the right info could tell me the age, origin, etc!

The numbers seem to be K105 A 71768

Thanks in advance!

Ron

Got the weight stamped on it: 105.   I would have asked that they check it on a bathroom scale but a Trenton in that condition in CA is not a bad deal at a bit over US$3 a pound...

Were you considering asking what year that serial number was from? I didn't see a question.
