Millerbuilt
Got a call from a buddy who's neighbor was selling his blacksmith shop items, including a 240 pound Trenton for 350$. I said yes, albeit a bit quickly then nearly dislocated my hip turning to run to my truck. I walked into the shop about a half hour later, but knew right away it was around 100.pounds. he disagreed so I paid him for it anyway, lol. It seems to be a 105 Trenton in really nice shape. I sure would dig it if someone with the right info could tell me the age, origin, etc! The numbers seem to be K105 A 71768 Thanks in advance! ThomasPowers
Got the weight stamped on it: 105. I would have asked that they check it on a bathroom scale but a Trenton in that condition in CA is not a bad deal at a bit over US$3 a pound... Were you considering asking what year that serial number was from? I didn't see a question.
Daswulf
What Thomas said. Weigh it on the bathroom scale. Looks like 105# to me. Probably within +or- 10#. Either way its a great anvil that should serve beyond your lifetime. Price was still right. Congrats. I'm a Trenton anvil fan.

Daswulf
Well its before they went to the solid steel top from the waist up . Someone with AIA might be along to help with age. Other then that, forge on and enjoy!
