Radforest
Hello Everybody, I came across this old firepot and tuyere. I would like some help identifying it it's big 16x12, I have never seen a clinker breaker like this. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated. There was an ash dump lid on the bottom. I'm going to clean it up this afternoon to see if I can make out any markings. Thanks
forger
I believe it is a Champion and it was designed for use with coke. Some one was reproducing them back in the ‘80’s if I recall correctly. I had an old one for over 25 years and used both coal and coke in it, worked great only sold it because of a long distance move I was going through. Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Welcome to IFI Radforest... I always recommend reading this thread to get the best out of the forum. I think Champion is correct on the firepot. https://www.iforgeiron.com/topic/53873-read-this-first/
Radforest
Thanks for the info. I had found one of these on ebay, but there was no information on it. That was the only picture I had been able to find. Once again thanks for the info.
