Bone
I have a Trenton with serial # 177447. Any idea on the age? Stamped 152 on the left corner and 177447 on the right.
ChrisPTF
Trenton Serial #177447 according to Anvils in America dates it at 1920
Black Frog
152 would be the weight stamp. How about posting a close-up of the side logo stamp? Trenton had several different logo styles through their production

Marc1
Nice find, happy for you. I am particularly satisfied that you don't need to age your anvil as I was afraid you wanted to do when I read the title of your post. I had images of rapid succession of hammer blows scratching and grinding to make the anvil look old. Fortunately that is not the case. Bone
I just hope I look as good when I'm 98. Take care.
