  1. Mine is much smaller than yours , but the edges on the top of the anvil are very much like mine. I doubt if yours has been refitted. Mine does not have the P-hole.....TB Note on the Stand ; If you reload your own ammo ( and a lot of folks do). Looks to me lika a good place to mount a press.
  2. Bare with me on this one. I have a Block and tackle with a logo of an "Anvil " on the lower ends of the pulley plate. Can anyone give me a maker. Thanks again folks on the help with me Mouse Hole Anvil....
  3. Thank you very much for the information. I was wondering about value, although it is not for sale. It was in my wife's family for four generations. I still use it some on woodworking. Great for fitting handles in hammers and axes.
  4. My guess is it's Civil War era or earlier. It is well used but nothing is broken. Is there any significance to the lack of the letters M&H ? Thank you for the reply...
  5. This is my first try at this. MH Armitage Mouse Hole Anvil weight mark. 0-3-20. I need information as to age and Origin, The MH is not visible.
  6. I have a M&H Armitage Mouse Hole Anvil. The weight marks are 0.3.20 . Can any one tell me the history of this. The letters M&H are not visible.
