January 2, 20188 yr For oil, for blades, I have a smallish welding tank with the top cut off and built a wooden stand to prevent tip overs. I also have a metal can that fits fairly well around it to stop oil fires when quenching. I also have a mass of steel on some heavy steel wire to use for preheating: heat the steel and then immerse it in the oil near the bottom and hang the wire with a hook on the end on the side of the tank. I have some Parks 50 for a special project but have not found a lid for my large ammo can yet.
