September 4, 20178 yr Can anyone tell me a brand on this swage block? Its 18x18 by 4 1/2 wide and its 275 pounds. The markings are not there do to use.
September 4, 20178 yr Not a clue. Looks like a nice one but all swage blocks in decent condition look good and that one looks in darned good condition. Mine only has one V swage. sniff sniff. I think mine was cast in the rail road foundry before statehood, State maintenance and equipment shops have the same pattern swage blocks as mine all over the state. I think a lot of swage blocks were cast in foundries all over the country maybe as a training project. Frosty The Lucky.
