Mark Ling
Glen passed away yesterday morning at age 81. He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's 6 years earlier. Campbell's hits include his recordings of John Hartford's "Gentle on My Mind"; Jimmy Webb's "By the Time I Get to Phoenix", "Wichita Lineman", and "Galveston"; Larry Weiss's "Rhinestone Cowboy"; and Allen Toussaint's "Southern Nights". He was a dang good man and a great singer. RIP Glenn, you have left us, but your music will play on forever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxVCOsZORHY Littleblacksmith
Frosty
I heard the news alert about the time he passed. I lost my Brother to ALS 3 years ago, his decline was long and hard. It leaves a person with mixed feelings we're sorry they pass but relieved when they do. Watching Glen Campbell going down was hard on a lot of us. It's never easy. Rest well, see you on the other side. Frosty The Lucky.
Kevin Olson
Glen was very popular back in the day. In fact, he sold more records in 1968 then the Beatles! He will be missed :-(
