splinteredlight Posted June 13, 2017 Share Posted June 13, 2017 Can anyone shed some light on this anvil? Appears to be steel, stamped with "Atlanta GA" and, I think, "Warrawild". Black Frog Posted June 13, 2017 Share Posted June 13, 2017 Not a Fisher at all, they were cast. The word upside down is "WARRANTED". Scrub the front foot under the horn for a serial number, please post a picture. Also take a picture of the underisde of the the anvil base, that can tell quite a bit. He sent me another picture that shows a "made by" stamp under the "warranted." Can't make out what it says under that though.
