BlasterJoe
A friend of mine asked if I could make him a dead strait adze for some wood work he does. He didn't want any kind of bow to the blade. He also wanted a pass through handle. I'm not sure which side to bevel for this type. I was going to put a single bevel on the bottom or handle side. He will be using it for limbing mahogany in the field. I made it out of a chunk of tierod. The handle is hickory with linseed and terpintine finish. I haven't done a heat treat yet until he looks at it and is happy.
turbo7
If he wants it for Limbing I would bevel both sides like an axe.
