Merlen
Hi there, I am from Ontario. I am currently working as a sales executive in the marketing field. I don't have any experience in welding but I have attended a workshop during my high school days. I would like to save my career to welding. Hope that I could be able to learn more from here. Latticino
While there are a number of professional welders who frequent this site, the main thrust of most of the posts here revolve around forging steel (the forum is "I FORGE IRON"). There is a lot of great information on this site, but you may do better learning about a career in welding on a forum more like this one: http://weldingweb.com/ (2 second Google search), or one of the many run by some of the larger welding machine manufacturers like Miller, Lincoln, Hobart... ThomasPowers
Here in the USA some of the Community Colleges have classes in welding oriented at preparing workers for a career in that field including getting certification in various processes. Perhaps Canada has such things as well?
