bobasaurus
I just finished this damascus integral bolster chef knife. I forged the low-layer damascus billet out of 1080 and 15n20, then shaped the knife. The handle is padauk, with a brass and silver spacer. JME1149
Very nice, I personally like the bold contrast of the low layer count.
BlasterJoe
Very nice piece. Have thought about zebra wood handle? Might look cool if you can lay the pattern the same direction. Or opposite for that matter.

PeaceFreak
Very nice knife! But what is that black spot on the knife (about 3-4 cm down the blade) ??

That was a touchmark I messed up. The concave area underneath it caused the metal to squish rather than stamp normally, then the stamp was crooked when it actually contacted the anvil. I need to practice with it more.
