Scott stitch Posted November 19, 2016 Share Posted November 19, 2016 Please help identify this anvil. 17" base 14" tall face is 7"- 12.5"... looks like a fisher, however there is not one makers mark or number anywhere. Even here in the United States that anvil would be worth more where I live now that where I lived previously. I'm not sure how sawmakers value compare to "normal" anvils but around $3 per lb seem to be the going rate these days. Are you near Eugene? ThomasPowers Posted November 20, 2016 Share Posted November 20, 2016 I rather like a nice broad horn for drawing out blades; so my favorite bladesmithing anvil is my 515# Fisher with the two 1.5" hardy holes and the big horn.
