TwistedCustoms
I was just browsing through another forum, a prepped site, and ran across this. Being ex military, (US Army) I love a good acronym. Someone posted this...Beware the IDIOT (incredibly dangerous internet of things). I found it about ten minutes ago but it took me that long to stop laughing.
rockstar.esq
I just read about how a company was able to commandeer some LED area lighting on an industrial site with a drone. Phillips lighting claimed the problem couldn't be resolved without physically working on the affected fixtures individually. I remember working for a Meijers store in Michigan when there was a power outage. All the customers panicked and ran for the door under the faint glow of frog-eye lights. A good third of them took their shopping carts along for the stampede. It was ugly in there. I think promoting the "internet of things" is reckless naivete. Glenn
And most likely they expected to be checked out so they could take their purchases home with them.
