October 13, 20169 yr howdy folks, Straycat_74 here in Wisconsin Rapids, Wood County, central Wisconsin. looking for other smiths in the area to hang out, do some forging, and chat/networking. I'm still rather new, and I work as a truck driver too much to make Much headway in teaching myself much, so having another local smith to chat with would be awesome.

Many of your questions have already been answered and discussed. Upper Midwest Blacksmith Association may be near you. Go tot he meetings. You will learn more in a day than you can imagine.
