Alan Evans Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 A double arch hammer was installed at the Blists Hill Museum site in Ironbridge 30 odd years ago. I seem to remember it having more layers of timber beneath the anvil block than is shown in your blueprints. You could try getting in touch with them, the staff will have changed but they are likely to have it all on record. It may be in one of my old BABA Magazines from the period...I know I read about it somewhere.. Contacting John Nicholson at Massey Hammers, may also be useful.
