Th0m
Grandpa gave me this anvil a long time ago and i'm trying to figure out what it is. I have got the bug to try to learn some blacksmithing.
Fatfudd
It looks like a 224lb Peter Wright anvil, a good shop sized anvil.

Frosty
Welcome aboard, glad to have you. If you'll put your general location in the header you might be surprised how many Iforge folk live within visiting distance. Nice anvil. There are many many hours of quality reading in the Iforge archives organized by category. Please don't make the mistake so many new folk make and "repair or restore" that old lady. She's in fine shape good for a couple few more generations. A little wire brushing and some wax or oil to keep the red fuzzies away and she'll ready for the ball. Her face doesn't need or want ore than some hot steel and hammer work to make her shine. Frosty The Lucky.
