Also, best thing to do is use the search feature of the forum as there are already threads with information on making chain. Even a link to youtube for a video. Rich Hale Posted December 31, 2007 Share Posted December 31, 2007 Forge welding is a must I posted a bit on this forum earlier today that may help you get that part down if you dont already have it down so you get a good weld every time. I geared it for welding in a gasser but coal is similiar just watch out not to burn the steel...other than a forge weld it is a matter of cutting the correct length of stock bending to shpe and scarfing the ends and welding.....make a pile of half of what you want and then join them with new links enjoy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
