bornking
I just recently bought this anvil on craigslist and when I cleaned it up it looks to be a Soderfors. I can see a made in Sweden stamp and one that looks like S.I.S. co and ???fer maybe and the 125 lbs looks kind of strange...Does anyone know how old it is? or what the markings mean? Thanks,Doug
BIGGUNDOCTOR
That is an upside down 3, not a 2. Sodefors are great anvils. Mine is 306# and it has a date stamped on it. Look it over carefully, your anvil may also be marked with a date.
