Beginner blacksmith with VERY limited resources at the time! Just my Oxy/Acet torch, RR track and Sledge... pumpkin is made of copper.. just started this stuff last week.. lookin forward to learning from you guys!

Not bad at all, tho a cuple of punched and counter sunk holes would look beter with the screws. Might try a forged nail with a roset head insted

Thanks Charles! I totally agree! I learn new stuff everytime I'm on here and in the garage! I'm currently gathering parts for a small coffee can forge at the moment.. I got a side burner all fit up just need to find some refactory/insulation

I can definetly see that being very peaceful! If I could find a coal supplier local I would 

the "local" coal supplier to me is a 5 hour drive each way; quite likely that Charles' supplier is closer than that to you...

Join the saltfork craftsmen, I think it's a $140 a ton, at on of the three coal piles, northwest, central and south east if I remember. The Norman pile is closest to me, but I use a lot of scrap wood and forge with charcoal. 

Or you can hit TS and get hard coal, I also imagine if their is a farrier supply up your way they can order it (Nature farms in Norman caries it)
