April 6, 201511 yr Moderator---Charles used the "B" word again! (I scrounge my bandsaw blade as often they fail in use leaving areas that are still sharp. The dull sections get added into billets and the sharp ones get cut to size---a set of bullnose snips will cut BSB nicely if you start the cut from the *back* and let the hardened part just break off. Also you want to put the holes in the back section and avoid the hardened edge; make them a bit closer together than the wood cutting blade has so the blade will be in a bit more tension. I've cut trolley rail in two with my 30" hacksaw before *AND* the blades tend not to break like the cheap imported regular hacksaw blades!)
