Black Frog Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 (edited) Thomas Eveson (later "& Sons") were in the Stourbridge area in the mid 1800's.This is from an 1875 Stourbridge commercial guide, but there's references to Thomas Eveson as early as 1829. Notice they were listed for Anchor Works as well as anvil/vise manufacturing. Probably an easy guess as to why there's an anchor on your anvil.....
