November 25, 200718 yr Hello all, my name is Chris, i am getting into blacksmithing, since i have a friend that does it, i am only 15 years old, i collect and restore old hit and miss motors and antuiqe tractors and some cars. But now my new hoppy is blacsmithing, i got my grandpas old forge, i am looking to buy an anvil 150pounds or more, and i am in need of some tools (tongs, hardies, hammers, etc) I decided to come and check this place out, hope you guys here can help me out, thank you very much, Chris :D

November 25, 200718 yr Hi Chris and Welcome, If you are looking for tongs & such, try GS Tongs. He sells tongs on E-bay and has a webpage as well. He charges $25.00 a pair, which is not bad for a person on a limited budget. I have not used them, so I can't personally endorse them. Best of luck, Chad
December 10, 200718 yr hi, another good start to tongs is take 2 pieces of flat and twist a few in. a 1/4 of a turn drill hole etc. i think there on anvilfire
