January 11, 201511 yr Hello all I just finished up a new Bowie knife. It was forged from 1085 carbon steel. The pommel and cross guard were forged from 1018 with an antler handle. The blade is 8 1/4" long with a overall length of 14".

January 12, 201511 yr Very nice work. I really do like it. I wasn't even looking at your pattern. I saw your revolver on the right side of the belt but the grip was facing forward. Nbd it was probably just setup for the pic.
January 12, 201511 yr Author Thanks for the kind words. At hay river, it is a left hand holster when I drew the pattern on the leather I put it on the wrong side. Was trying for a a right hand holster. Luckily I have a second peacemaker that still needs a holster
