October 23, 200718 yr Peyton, that's cruel and unusual punishment you know... Sheesh, present to win? Good luck with it, someone's going to get a great deal on that thing I'm thinking.
October 24, 200718 yr grr, If only I had a good reason to go to virginia.. ^^im afraid we are in the same boat mcraigl.. oregon is just a little to far from virginia.
October 24, 200718 yr If you win it, it would be worth the freight to ship across the country. Heck, I'd buy $20-$30 worth of tickets if I thought I had a chance.
October 24, 200718 yr ya.. but I would have to be there anyway.. Could you bring something like that on a plane?
October 24, 200718 yr How about if I win it Bill can bring it back with him? sounded like a good idea
October 24, 200718 yr How about if I win it Bill can bring it back with him? sounded like a good idea Ha, I'de be a little afraid that the person I hired would deny that I won whether I did or not.. He's a winner either way!
October 24, 200718 yr Hmm I wonder if my Sister has a hankering to attend that meet, she's in Manassas...
October 24, 200718 yr Author Now you are thinking!!!! Send her on down Thomas! A chance on this anvil AND Bill Epps....PLUS free lunch...AND A TOUR OF MIKE'S SHOP....that's worth the trip from anywhere in the country!!! Peyton
November 9, 200718 yr I was actually just reading about it on the website..I' was thinking about attending it actually. Would be quite entertaining and quite a good learning experience since i am want to learn more since i'm still new.
November 9, 200718 yr Ruinite Come on down or over We try to strive to make it a good time and learning experience for everyone that attends no matter what their skill level is. From beginner to master there is usually something to be learned from the demonstration. Heck if nothing else you might just be lugging a 500lb anvil home ( that would be fun ) and I should know I do it all the time. There will be some tailgaters and vendors there as well I think BLACKSMITH SUPPLY will be there. ( thats who I bought the anvil from to raffle off ) and he will probally have a few anvils to chose from if you dont win the raffle that you could buy. But think positive and bring a wad of cash and buy lots of tickets. Even if you dont win Id bet that you will have a good time and learn something. And thats what this is all about. Mike Tanner
