eseemann
I have expect the next photo to be of the wheel barrow failing under the weight. How many people did it take to move that thing! Great find, what did it cost?
SilverDeck
It's clearly English-made (given the weight markings). A Peter Wright??
Jim Coke
Greetings Thin, Looks like a Wilkinson to me.... Look for the crossed hot dogs... For sure early English Jim
Thinus
The weight is about 421lbs/191kg according to the anvil weight calculator. It took 4 of us to load it. Most of the Blacksmith tools i get from the local scrapyard or info from them about the were-about and pay mostly per weight. Thanks i will look for the id marks. Frosty
That's a sweet find, congratulations on a couple counts. First you now have a great anvil and second but far from least, you saved it from the scrapper. A 3-3-18, what a beast, it'd sure look good in my shop. Frosty The Lucky.
