JHBurkhart
I've just purchased an anvil from a friend who inherited it and I can't find anything about it... I've seen in another forum that someone said it's not in "anvils in America"... here is what is says on it.on the side trade mark JUNIATA Solid Wrought Warranted 103 (actual weight 102.6)on the front 10825 (and what looks like two capital Js back to back or a clover leaf)on the back 11 Any help would be greatly appreciated... ThomasPowers
Might be worth while contacting Postman directly as he is in the process of working on a serious update as he has found a lot more makers hiding out there!
PeteH
Well, Juniata's in Pennsylvania, out around Harrisburg. That may be a starting point.

Sask Mark
A couple of years ago I remember reading an auction notice having one of those anvils. I would also like to learn more about them. My wife's name is Juanita. I figure if I could get my hands on one of those, I could talk her into another acquired anvil based on the name alone. JHBurkhart
It's actually quite nice... I've sent a message to Richard Postman on his book site... I'll gladly keep you updated on what I find...

BSkrivanek
It's a Hay Budden that was stamped for a retailer. I have one, and that is the information that I have found.
