Lodestone25
I believe one is a 296lb Trenton (in really good shape), and the other is a 246lb Soderfors in pretty decent shape. I paid 600$ each on these, any thoughts? I'm still relatively new to this stuff so I wanted to see if you guys thought I made a decent deal or not. Thanks for your help, Lodestone
Sask Mark
Sweet anvils. I would be happy to pay $600 each for those.
HWooldridge
I'd say you did well...
VaughnT
Any time you can get a decent anvil for close to $2 per pound, I'm calling it a good deal. A dollar a pound is a better deal, but two bucks is well worth it in my opinion!
Fatfudd
I would buy either for that price, good score!
Lodestone25
whew, thanks guys! I'm never quite sure what I'm doing with these deals, but im glad to hear i did ok. I fired up the forge tonight and tried out the Trenton, man it was nice. Going from a 140lb anvil to a 296lb makes a huge difference in stability! Fe-Wood
I'd say you did well considering I did a similar deal today for a pretty clean Hay Budden
ThomasPowers
Looks like great anvils; but did you need both? Lots of other tools that second $600 could go for!
