Farmall
I have been messing around with some sheet copper and sorta made some bowls that really take some time finishing to look nice. Was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for good books on working with copper or coppersmithing. Thanks for any help!

bigfootnampa
Silversmithing is very similar and will use mostly the same techniques... so silversmithing books can help you. The basic idea though is to have a nice finish on the tools that contact the work and to wield them with such care that the finish on the tools is transferred to the metal. ThomasPowers
What he said---most silver smithing books will tell you to work with copper until you get good enough, then switch to silver as they work very much the same!
