Steve Shimanek
Yeah that is a cool video which I have seen before, but I am not sure why you needed to post another persons video on my thread.
CaveForge
I would remove it if it would allow me but it won't.
Glenn
but I am not sure why you needed to post another persons video on my thread. Steve are you suggesting that I flag the thread so only you can post to YOUR THREAD?
gearhartironwerks
Please stop the xxxxxxx match. I'm relatively certain that we all appreciate the multiple postings, regardless of who posted them. It's all good and we learn from them. To those who post, keep it up! Thanks, John

wolfman6
What type of metal is in most cable?
Steve Shimanek
There are different grades of carbon steel depending on the cable and its use, as well as different strand combinations. Many cable types are suitable for blades; some types you may run across are referred to as Plow steel, Improved Plow Steel, and Extra Improved Plow steel, which refers to the carbon levels in the steel. Higher carbon levels contribute to a higher hardness potential for blades.
