August 13, 201213 yr Glenn, I do stand corrected. But nevertheless, it sounds as if charcoal smoke is not going to kill you if you accidentally inhale a little bit. A good way to prevent inhalation is to observe the prevailing winds, take note at when they shift during the days on a normal day, and forge accordingly. Additionally, if the air pressure is low, then the smoke will hang about. So take into consideration that, as well. These two things have helped me immensely.
August 21, 201213 yr After forge work or grinding I use a Nettie Pot and rinse out the sinuses. Oh my god you will surprised on what comes out. Once you get past the feeling of squirting salt water up your nose you will be surprised on how you feel afterwards. You can get them at Rite Aid, Walgreens, Wal-Mart etc... You can get the salt packages there as well. Plus you might notice a difference with your allergies. I did.
