Loneforge
This pattern came from an opposing twist welded to a 176 layer flat billet.(my attempt at San-Mai). I had a chunk come off the opposite side of the blade when quenched. The blade remained solid so I flaked the bad weld off and filled it with silver solder to keep the elements and contaminants out. The guard is nickel silver with a red Micarta spacer and Red Balau Handle.
Dodge
That's a nice looking knife, Darren Hint for the flaw filled with silver sol; Shape the flaw to look intentional and put your touch mark there! ;) Scott

Loneforge
Samcro the bad blemish is on the other side of the blade. Those are just deep spots in the pattern! It is way more noticeable than this...Thanks for the compliments Guys!
gearhartironwerks
Ahhh, the beauty of damascus. If you don't like it, or something goes wrong, just cut it up, re-weld, twist it, and draw it out again. It's all good! Nice blade Lone.
