BAM Conference 2012

Featured Replies

I won't be able to go, but I have demonstrated at the BAM Conference back in 2002 or 2003. And I would encourage anyone that can go and wants to learn more about this craft to attend. They are one of the largest and most involved groups out there, and they have some very talented members and get some great demonstrators from all over the world.

We are driving down from mn on wed.
Will have the umba dvds and a new peter wrong anvil

We will be there Wednesday evening too in order to start setting up first thing on Thursday morning.

Roger, are you camping or staying in a motel?

- Bernie

Got tired of being rained on and staying at the Super 8 with the semi civilized folks

I'll be there with 2 or 3 power hammers, some hand forged Arm & Bammer soap to sell, and some stuff ot make some killer baked beans. MOblacksmith0530 and I decided we want to cook and socialize a little more this year, maybe a little midnite madness. Might be 4 ph's in one small spot. Don't miss the action.

Glad to hear about midnight madness it gets pretty dead some years after sun down. Bringing a bicycle in case I see a new tail gater pulls In across the building

Yeah, that sounds good Phil, looking forward to it.

Roger, I hear what you are saying, wouldn't be BAM without the rain. -_- We're bringing the RV, so the rain shouldn't bother us too bad.

Brian, i wish that you could be there.
I will be staying at the super 8 also, hope to meet you all at the conference. I know of 1 other member that will be there.
There will be pic's here when I can get them up.

I've got a surprise I'm bringing with me. It's not somrthing to eat . Something I've been wanting to do for years.

Gee thanks Phill. Now I'll be awake nights for a week just wondering. <_<

At least you should be easy to find, Can't afford a PH but I will be looking for some new toys, I mean tools.
I will have to see if I can bring something.

For you guy and gals that don't know MOblacksmith0530 and I just look for a tall guy & a wide guy hanging around some freshly painted power hammers.

Phil
There is a problem with the description of the wide guy as there will be a lot of them to pick from

And dont say a wide guy wearing bibs as that might not narrow down the field

Roger no one will ever mistake you for me or vise-a-reversa. Take that however you want, I don't come to your jurisdiction.
Thomas, no pink hammers but they are not the same old green or gray. Are you coming?

I wish. Went to Brian's last week and the trip down to Bryan, TX to the Lee Brother's Extravaganza will most likely be my big trips for the year. Sounds to be a good one tho.

Now That's cool Phil! looks like you had good weather too. I know I missed a good conf., BAM really knows how to put on a show!
