Frank Turley Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Two of my students made cross peen hammers during the first two days of our 2 week toolsmithing class, but sorry, I tried but can't show the photo. Quote
Ramsberg Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Hey Frank, If you click on "More Reply Options" and then bellow where it says attach files, click on the "try our basic uploader" it may work. I have had to do that a few time to post a photo. Caleb Ramby Quote
Ted T Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Reduce your photo size by changing the overall pixel dimensions to smaller size, down to 600 x 600 pixels. I know the program is supposed to do it, BUT! My experence with uploading photos onto the site changed for the better when I reduced the size of my photos FIRST. ERRRRRRRR good luck! If I am incorrect, just pretend I never wrote this Frank! Ted Throckmorton Quote
Ramsberg Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Humm, actually it may say "Try our advanced uploader (requires Flash 9) " . It was the basic uploader that I had an issue with and couldn't upload any photos with. Hey Ted, For me it says that the max single file size is 32 megs, so the file size shouldn't be an issue. However, I don't know if this is the case with everyone using the forum. Caleb Ramsby Quote
double_edge2 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Nah it's just a plot, he wants to keep the pics for himself....lol Quote
petere76 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 If your photo program has a sizing selection of pixel dimensions, balance the AR with one side being 600. This size configuration seems to be working. Good luck with that, look forward to seeing the photos. Quote
danielpiotte Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I too made a cross pein in your class....15 years ago...wow....it is still my favorite hammer and still gets alot of attention everywhere I bring it.....It was a special request and I thank you Mr Turley for granting me the privilege Daniel Quote
