dennis_hl
Very nice. I like the rustic look of them all, but my favorite is the one with the wooden handle. Very nice.
Don A
Mucho progress! The first pic of the full-tang and the wood-handled knife look especially good. Just my opinion here, and I supposed that the wrap-handle knives have their place in the world, but I think a good blade always deserves a good handle, whether it's wood, bone, antler, or a combination. Good work. Hammer on, Don
Sam Salvati
Thanks, Yeah, I am finally realizing that it is better to take the time and do it right, and it makes a difference. That wood handled one is not done yet, I still need to sand the handle up, then apply about 9-10 coats of clear lacquer:D.
V
Hey ya Sam, I see a lot of improvement in your construction techniques i like all o them, specially downswept one.
Sam Salvati
Thanks Victor! I really am getting to like how the downswept design performas as a knife overall, a very good shape for chopping, yet just as good for light cutting. Sam Salvati
Looking good AM, keep up the good work. I really like the downswept blade as well. I'd love to see some pics when you get them finished. Sure, I will be staingin the handle with clear lacquer(on the wood handle one), then gluing and peening it all together, then polishing the bare steel parts. Most of the other blades are basicly just gonna get brown leather chord wraps on the handle spaces. For the ring hilt with filework, I have made a cool loooking easy sheath for it out of HEAVY black leather.

John Martin
I like the first one the most! I also like how you always manage to keep some of the original forging in the knife, it just accents it so well!
