ErnieA Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Hello All, I'm Ernie from the Portland Oregon area. I have many hobbies and one is metal working in my garage. I own a lathe and welders but always wanted a forge for working metal. Perhaps I'll make a few knifes and some decretive hangers. Right now I'm building a Freon Tank mini forge from the Ron Reil site found here Freon Tank Propane Miniforge I've completed my burner and now I'm working on the furnace chamber. I only get a few hours a week to work in my "shop" because of my real JOB, so I should have the forge up and working in a couple weeks. I'll keep an eye on this forum and gleen as much information that I can to make this a safe and rewarding hobby. Thanks to the administrators for making this forum available.
