rawtiron
What do you think? The price is right and it's a 2 hour drive. The dimensions are at the bottom of the page. Is it big enough for blacksmithing work though? These are not too common over here. Thanks for the advice. Nakedanvil - Grant Sarver
Can't go wrong at that price! If NZ dollars are anything like US dollars. Looks like a fast screw, kinda small weights. Hard to get a feel for the size.
archiphile
Go for it. At least it will stay outta the scrappy that way.
rawtiron
I'm picking it up next weekend. Will post some pics when I get it home. Thank you.
rawtiron
Got it home ok, and will post some pics this weekend. It weighs 66kg and stands about 600mm high, closed. The ram moves about 2.5 inches per revolution. Not too sure about how heavy the weights need to be though, and if the thread is going to be too fast. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Jason
rawtiron
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. It has a 1 stamped on it. Please read the above post for the rest of the details. Tried it out with some mild steel fullering dies and it works a treat. I'll now make a stand and some decent tooling for it. Thanks, Jason
