Keep an eye on it as there is a fine line between copper sweating and running out of the seams" Brass will be pooling in the bottom of the forge before copper sweats! If you use copper and brass you'll stop when the brass starts to sweat at the edges. With quarter mokume you watch for the copper to sweat, because nickel melts much higher.
