HWHII
I have a 385lb Hay Budden and I payed a $1,000 for it. It is my favorite, and the one I use in my main forging area. As many people here has said before it is what you are wiling to pay for something and how bad do you really want it?
stuarthesmith
I have a seven hundred pound hay budden that I paid 650 dollars for back in 1977 or so...............that money then is worth 3000 DOLLARS today, probably, and I don't regret buying it for one moment, I have been using it for over thirty years!!!!!!!!! Sask Mark
A 300 pound anvil is large where I live. A vast majority are well below 150 pounds. I know of about 5 that are over 300 pounds in my area.
stuarthesmith
these days, mark, all and I mean ALL anvils are hard to come by..................big or small
Marksnagel
They are hard to find. That is why I am using a train coupler and RR track. But you know, what you don't have you learn to make do without. They work good for me but the day that I do get an anvil, ya'll will hear me holler! ThomasPowers
I paid $350 for a mint 515# Fisher in the late 1990's. Quietness is *BLISS*!
