Whittler Kev
Has anyone near Peterborough, UK got a fly, bearing or hydraulic press sitting gathering dust they want to part with by any chance? :)
John B
Hi Kev, There should be loads of them avilable locally, as there used to be a healthy engineering industry there I would suggest looking in yellow pages for machine tool dealers, auctions etc and asking around any local scrapyards / recycling centres Most of these dealers will have flypresses or hydraulic presses laying about they will be glad to get rid of, even if they are not advertised, also depends on how far you want to travel to get one. I got my first one for the shop from Sheffield originally as I couldn't get one locally, then a couple of years later I got three from one place in a job lot that they were not even listed in, I went for some of the other items and had to take them as well, found good homes for them though and now I only have the one to play with.
