oakwoodforge
Nice blade Victor , is that an old file you used ? And what did you use to color the leather washers with ? Looks good to me Jens
V
It was forged from an old wide file, hardened very well, quenched in hot water, tempered in kitchen oven 300 celsius for 2.5 hours till a deep blue colour (nice). Handle is made of leather ovoids pierced (24 pieces) and butt peened, as Ka Bar´s; leather is inked with shoery colour mixed little black and lot of brown, then coated three times with liquid parafin (used to make liquid candles) no greasy finish, nice to touch, impervious to water and non slip handle. there is a little filework in the first 1/3 of spine (vine). Thank you for your comments!!
