Red Hot 77 Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Here is my first RR spike knife.Not quite finished,needs polished and a sheath made.I think spikes are good practice for making knives.Thats probably why u see so many of them.Hope pics turned out. However: Don't forget to unlearn bad habits that will work fine with lower carbon steel but will destroy knife grade steels! Which is why I don't suggest using spikes for knife practice when knife grade steels can be found just as easily and as cheaply.
