Firefighter739 Posted June 18, 2010 Share Posted June 18, 2010 Hey all. i need help. i have a new custom order. the guy wants a custom suit of armor. the kicker is he wants it all titanium. i have worked titanium before for small projects and it's a pain in the xxx, but the problem is i dont know where to get that much material. i need to know if there is somewhere i can order a large sheet of 14 guage titanium. please any leads can help. If none of them have it they can tell you who would. Should be plenty available as the aerospace industry probably uses lots that would serve your purposes. Thomas Dean Posted June 18, 2010 Share Posted June 18, 2010 WOW!! Your customer must be rolling in the dough. We had to buy 8 sheets of 11ga. TI last year, 4x8, and they were $13,500 PER SHEET!
